Best Practices

What Works (and What Does Not)

Ask right after a positive moment — first week, a milestone, end of year
Make it personal: use the child's name and reference something specific
Give them the direct Google link — never make them search
QR code at pickup area, front desk, and in the tour packet
Never offer incentives — it violates Google's review policy
Respond to every review publicly within 48 hours
Proven Scripts

Ask Scripts by Moment

Use these as templates. Personalize with the child's name. Always include the direct link.

After the First Week

"Your child just completed their first week! If you have been happy with what you have seen, a quick Google review helps other Sanford families find us — and takes about 60 seconds."

After a Milestone

"We noticed [child name] just reached a milestone! Moments like this are why we do what we do. If you would like to share your experience with other families, we would be grateful for a Google review."

End of School Year

"As we wrap up the school year, we are grateful for every family who trusted us with their child. If PHM has made a difference for your family, a Google review is the best way to pay it forward to families still searching."

After a Tour

"Thank you for visiting PHM today! If the tour felt right and you would like to help other Sanford families discover us, we would love a quick Google review — even before you enroll."
